WAVE has been unifying communications since 1999. With proven deployments in some of the world’s most demanding communications environments, partners benefit from the real world optimization of WAVE. As a standard based VoIP software, WAVE extends existing solutions and services, embeds in hardware devices and provides a development platform for unlimited customization and extensibility.
The WAVE Solution Developer Program provides partners with the WAVE SDK, sample applications, training, hands on labs, marketing and developer support to help them quickly and cost effectively get products shipped.
WAVE SDK abstracts the complexities of VoIP and UC for developers -- enabling them to focus on their core competencies like user experience and product integration rather than audio mixing, IP multicast, telephony or transcoding. The WAVE SDK is available in a hosted environment called the WAVE Sandbox for remote use and prototyping in addition to being available for use in the Twisted Pair Solutions Partner Labs and as an FTP download.
The Solution Developer program is designed to support organizations of all sizes. The program today includes large organizations such as Raytheon, General Dynamics, SAAB, British Telecom, Unisys as well as small organizations. A growing number of Twisted Pair Partners have developed their own WAVE-powered software and hardware solutions designed to deliver a tailored and differentiable capability to their customers.
A number of Twisted Pair Partners have embedded WAVE software directly into low-cost radio gateways as an affordable solution for deploying large scale interoperable radio networks.
Defense orientated Partners have built sophisticated military command and control solutions that combine WAVE-powered voice technology with other capabilities such as radio control, GIS, GPS positioning, video monitoring, force tracking and more.
Other Partners have developed innovative custom applications, such as a WAVE-powered solution that allows shipping operators to use more-effectively satellite bandwidth to communicate with ships at sea.
