Solution Benefits

WAVE is a software application that manages secure, real-time group communications over an IP network, enabling interoperable communications between any connected devices.

WAVE works with your current radio system, connects with any radio equipment from any manufacturer at any frequency, and always remains firmly under your control.

WAVE doesn't restrict you to equipment of a certain type, so there's no need to replace your existing radios.

WAVE integrates and mixes audio from any source, and supports the specialized requirements of most radio systems, including tone injection, hardware signaling devices, and voltage manipulation.

WAVE scales to support even the largest organizations; there is no limit to the number of radio endpoints that can join a WAVE conference.

WAVE systems can support dozens of audio conversations, and multiple WAVE systems can be interconnected, minimizing network bandwidth and providing coverage over wide distances.

Software Dispatch

Dispatch consoles enable dispatchers in fixed command centers to communicate with radio assets in the field.  Typically these hardware-based systems come with rooms and racks full of equipment, not to mention the immense amount of cabling that needs to be run between this equipment and the users’ workstation.

A dispatch console is the main tool used by Dispatchers to effectively communicate with radio users in the field.

These bulky hardware-based dispatch consoles have a few inherent issues.  For example, what happens if the building that houses all of this equipment is damaged and inaccessible?  What if the Dispatchers can’t get to work because of an illness?

Software Dispatch Consoles present a viable alternative to fixed-station dispatch consoles

WAVE Dispatch Communicator is available today and provides customers with a Voice over IP software Dispatch Console that allows on-the-fly radio bridging, telephony integration as well as text messaging and many other features.  The use of software Dispatch Consoles means less hardware, less cabling and using existing infrastructure to enable unified communications.

With WAVE software now available, Dispatchers no longer need to rely on expensive hardware systems.  They can use their existing desktop PC and network connection to communicate with an endless amount of radio assets in the field.  Read more by going to …

Flexible and highly scalable software dispatch solutions are replacing large, expensive and proprietary hardware consoles.
