Training Overview
Twisted Pair Solutions offers a selection of WAVE Certified Engineer training courses that provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to design, engineering and deploy WAVE-powered communications networks.
Three certification courses are currently on offer:
WAVE Certified Integration Engineer (WCIE)
Targeted at pre-sales and post-sales support personnel
WAVE Certified Development Engineer (WCDE)
For software developers doing WAVE custom development
WAVE Thin Client Development Workshop
For software developers working specifically on mobile device applications using the WAVE Thin Client SDK
The four-day WAVE Certified Integration Engineer (WCIE) course teaches students the basics of WAVE, as well as the essentials of installing and configuring a WAVE Domain. Through hands-on labs, the students gain the knowledge and skills needed to deploy WAVE and provide post-sales support. The course is intended for qualified network engineers involved in pre and post sales integration efforts with WAVE. Students who successfully complete the course requirements will be awarded WCIE certification.
The two-day WAVE Certified Development Engineer (WCDE) course is a two-day lab-environment class which gives students an introduction to the Twisted Pair Solutions, Inc. WAVE SDK. Attendees learn about the the WAVE SDK to create applications which provide interoperable communications solutions. Attendees will learn how to connect to a WAVE domain, select user profiles, establish audio communication with radios, phones, and other applications, join and leave channels, create chat sessions with other WAVE applications, and more.

WAVE Thin Client (WTC) Development Workshop
There has been much excitement recently surrounding the announcement and demonstrated capabilities of WAVE Mobile Communicators for Smartphones. Built using the WTC platform, WAVE Mobile Communicators can, for example, turn mobile devices into carrier-independent push-to-talk handsets. The one-day WTC Development Workshop gives developers the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the WTC platform and how it can be used to develop client applications for almost every conceivable mobile device.
